Sassy Asparagus

I went to an art camp at a farm in Ireland over the summer for three weeks. The camp was called Cow House Studios, and even though I did a photography class while I was there, I decided I would do something with ink for my final project. My mentor, Adam, cut some squares up for me and I got to work.
This square is based on a conversation I had with one of the owners of the farm, Frank. I told him that asparagus was the sassiest vegetable (don't ask me how this topic came up) and he told me I should draw sassy asparagus. And so this was born.
